The popular Manhattan Square Park Ice Rink reopened to the public on February 8 and will remain open tentatively through March 29 (weather permitting). Patrons will be greeted by an expanded warming shelter that features a heated floor and fireplace, new rental skates, a new sound and lighting system and a kidney-shaped rink surface that is 30 percent larger than the original rink. In the summer, the rink will double as a reflecting pool. Heavy snowfall may cancel or delay sessions. Call to confirm times.
